Dr Mark Urman Appointed Clinical Professor of Medicine

Dr. Mark K. Urman, Attending Cardiologist in the Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute was appointed as a Clinical Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) in the Cedars-Sinai Clinical Professorial Series, effective July 1, 2014.
Dr. Urman, a former Clinical Chief of the Division of Cardiology at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and inaugural Medical Director of the Consultative and Preventive Heart Center of Excellence at the Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute, has been recognized in the past with a teaching award for his outstanding teaching skills and respected mentoring of cardiology trainees at Cedars-Sinai. He has remained devoted to the continuous teaching of medical students, residents and cardiology fellows since 1994. He also is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA where he has been on clinical faculty for over two decades. The Cedars-Sinai Clinical Professorial Series was recently established as a way for the Medical Center to recognize its medical staff members for their academic achievement and valuable contributions.
