Heart Health e-Newsletter
Drs. Caren and Urman created this complimentary educational service for patients and their families early in 2010. Subscribers have looked forward each month to these newsletters since. Our subscriber list has grown to over 1000 readers.
Our monthly newsletter is intended to raise awareness of heart health-related issues and to encourage our readers to be educated and to take charge of their health and live healthier, more fulfilling lives. One of a doctor’s primary obligations is to educate patients. In fact the origin of the word ‘doctor’ is (via Old French) from the Latin doctor which means ‘teacher’ (from docere ‘teach’).
Our Heart Health e-newsletter has the latest heart-related stories, news and health tips from the prior month which we feel are most important and most likely to be of interest to our patients. The medically-related content is edited by Dr. Urman. Office news and the latest about our cardiologists that also might be of interest to our patients or website visitors is also included to keep you updated about our practice.
